The main purpose of the mechanism for creating new windows (popup) in the Web page is to help people build Web programming mode to communicate with users more convenient without losing clarity, most consistency in presenting Web content. However, this mechanism has now been running some profit website used to display advertising as much information as possible. Worse, this mechanism being used by hackers to steal personal information of computer users. To disable this feature in Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla, ... you have to change some parameters to control the operation of JavaScript, ActiveX, Plug-in in your browser.
With Internet Explorer, the danger lies in the "spy" ActiveX can hide the popup window, IE can download the ActiveX "spies" and run like other Windows applications, and that computer "open door" to keep intruders away from the bad. IE is the default setting requires the approval of users before downloading and running ActiveX controls from Internet. However, this setting can be changed, the program "not invited" to enter and can run automatically. So should revise some of the activities of ActiveX controls in IE.
