Yahoo Search Direct

Not to be outdone by Google, Yahoo! debuted their own version of “Instant Search” earlier this month, with a few differences sure to bring back a few of the Y! strayers.

You can access Yahoo Search Direct right from the main Yahoo! page. It’s located just to the right of the search box. Click it to continue.

 

Put your cursor in the search box and the currently trending searches will pop up automatically. If you mouse over each one you’ll get links for news and further information about the topic.

 

But that’s not all. Put in a custom search and you’ll get not only variations of your search criteria, but also the top sites containing info on your search. You can use this for booking a trip, finding a recipe, or just about anything else you can think of!
